Corporate Wellness Overview

When establishing a Wellness Program we advise our clients to evaluate 6 basic components that will improve the chances of obtaining a strong ROI.

IPS has partnered with leading providers of Wellness programs across the nation to provide our clients with the following tools.  They include:

Health Risk Assessment (HRA)

An HRA is a questionnaire designed to measure critical health factors and interpret the current health status of individuals within your total eligible population. HRA data captured in an aggregate format provides a first step in crafting wellness initiatives targeting prominent risk factors within your population.

Biometric Screenings

A biometric screening provides an instantaneous detailed assessment of a members basic health indicators, including:
  • Blood Pressure
  • Cholesterol (HDL and LDL)
  • BMI
  • Blood Glucose
Most biometric screenings include an explanation of results, as well as goal-setting tips and ideas from a Nurse/Health Coach. This creates member awareness of potential health conditions, sending them down the right path to healthier habits.

Health Coaching (On-site / On-line / Telephonic)

By adding personal health coach’s to a Wellness Program, companies can provide guidance, catalyze motivation, and establish a higher level of accountability within the wellness program.

Workshops

These targeted programs are designed to raise your employee awareness about their health, help them understand their susceptibility to disease, and motivate them to make lifestyle changes that will reduce risks and enhance the quality of their lives. Workshops frequently target:
  • Fitness
  • Nutrition
  • Stress
  • Smoking

Wellness Initiatives

Initiatives targeting obesity, smoking and stress are fun and popular ways to engage employees in the Wellness Program.  IPS designs initiatives to not only target risk factors but to also build upon your corporate culture. Examples: 10,000 Steps Program, Weight Loss Challenges, and Smoking Cessation.

On Demand Aggregate Reporting

Meaningful aggregate reporting is warranted in order to gauge the success of a wellness program. Additionally it helps in designing workshops and initiatives targeting prevalent risk factors in the employee population. IPS provides clients with aggregate reporting on:
  • Health Risk Assessments
  • Biometric Screening
  • Participation
